From admission to discharge and aftercare planning, patients are involved in every step of the treatment process. Each patient’s program is individualized to meet his or her needs and goals. Patients gain productive insight into their behaviors and feelings, set realistic goals and practice new behaviors through a multi-faceted range of therapies and education.
Families are considered an integral part of treatment. In many instances, therapy or education sessions that include family members are provided. In addition, staff members work with the patient and family to anticipate issues that may arise after discharge, and then help the individual and family develop a plan that best meets that patient’s recovery needs.
