Kelly J. Hoagland, MD,

Kelly J. Hoagland, MD, is a board-certified adult psychiatrist who provides treatment for a broad spectrum of mental health concerns in adults, including mood and anxiety disorders, psychosis, ADHD, and management of symptoms related to stress, grief, role changes, and medical illness. Additionally, she has a clinical interest in psychotherapy and in women’s mental health, particularly in the evaluation and treatment of women who are pregnant, postpartum, or planning for conception

Dr. Hoagland has held many psychiatric leadership positions and has been recognized for excellence in teaching psychiatric professionals and students. She previously attended and served at some of the nation’s top schools, including Notre Dame and Harvard, where she actively participated on several committees focusing on the training, planning and development of programs related to teaching and patient care.

She served as an instructor of psychiatry at Harvard Medical School, where she was also a director of Outpatient Education as an attending psychiatrist. Dr. Hoagland served as chief resident of psychopharmacology at the Harvard Longwood Psychiatry Residency Training Program, completing both her residency and internship there. She received her medical degree from the Boston University School of Medicine in 2005 and graduated from the University of Notre Dame with high honors in psychology in 2000.

Dr. Hoagland is the recipient of numerous honors and awards, including three from Boston University for excellence in psychiatry, patient care and teaching. She has presented to both professional and academic audiences and co-authored several articles.

She is a member of the American Psychiatric Association, American Medical Association, Wisconsin Medical Society and Wisconsin Psychiatric Association.
