A licensed clinical psychologist, Kristin L. Miles, PsyD, serves as clinical services manager for Child and Adolescent Day Treatment (CADT) at Rogers Memorial Hospital-West Allis. Dr. Miles oversees the clinical programming and financial integrity of the CADT program and assures quality performance to exceed licensing standards. In addition, she supervises students and interns and provides educational training.
A graduate of the Wisconsin School of Professional Psychology in Milwaukee, Dr. Miles has served in multiple mental health settings, where she acquired a variety of behavioral health skills, including working with autistic children, planning and implementing psychoeducation groups, assisting in crisis interventions, communicating with multiple groups (social workers, physicians, group leaders, staff, family members, etc.), performing psychological evaluations, completing intake questionnaires and seeing patients of all ages for individual outpatient therapy.
Prior to becoming clinical services manager, Dr. Miles worked in other positions at Rogers, including mental health technician for Rogers-West Allis, intake specialist for Rogers-Oconomowoc and psychological assistant for the CADT program in West Allis under Dr. Jody Pahlavan. She is passionate about teaching mental health and supporting patients on their road to recovery.
Dr. Miles is a member of the National Register of Health Service Psychologists and the American Psychological Association. She enjoys working with children and adolescents in both a management and clinical role. Her primary clinical interests include post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), depression, anxiety and other mood disorders. Dr. Miles works with patients using cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) and a patient centered approach.
