At the Center for Organizational Advancement of Rogers Memorial Hospital, our specialty is people. We understand what makes people personally and interpersonally effective. We recognize the many obstacles that can push individuals and teams off track. More important, we can help you find solid solutions to getting your team back on track - or prevent it from derailing in the first place.

Creating Advancement
Whether your team is in the board-room or on the baseball field, the key to advancement is insight. Insight into the dynamics that underlie your team's performance. In order for your team to be successful, team members must embrace change. They must understand why change is important, and how it will impact their team.
Community
The COA offers programs for community, school, scout, church, athletic and personal-growth groups. Community programs focus on a variety of team-related topics including leadership, motivation, adaptability, trust, cooperation, goal setting and communication. They are primarily based on our outdoor ropes and challenge course.
Schools-In-Need
The COA offers Together, Educators and Corporations Help (TEACH) for school and extra-curricular groups that are unable to fund a COA experience. The TEACH program partners schools with businesses who will assist in funding the class. In exchange for this tax-deductible donation, the adopted class offers a special "thank you" by assisting with a special volunteer project or providing a related community service.
Corporate Organizations
The COA offers customized programs for businesses of all sizes. We offer four levels of programs - that can be used successively or independently - depending on the needs of your organization:
Customized Programs
The Center for Organizational Advancement offers programs year-round. We offer outdoor experiences on our two woodland ropes courses, and indoor experiences at your preferred site. All COA programs can accommodate from nine to 200 participants per day. Experiences may vary from a few hours to several day-long sessions depending on the needs of your team.
The COA is a center for team learning and growth. Facilitators use a variety of experiential learning approaches to help your team sharpen its effectiveness. Experiential learning is essentially "learning by doing". Experiential learning allows individuals and teams to think creatively and adopt different views and perspectives about life situations. Experiential learning takes many forms: group interactions, facilitated discussions and individual team-focused workshops.
Multi-Purpose Center
The Center for Organizational Advancement is pleased to offer a new, indoor facility to accommodate your organization's experiential learning needs. You will have access to many indoor high elements - including a climbing wall - and low level problem solving elements. The new facility also can be used to accommodate Rogers Memorial's workshops and conferences, allowing for lecture style seating up to 100 participants.
