Dr. Stephanie EkenStephanie C. Eken, MD, a child and adolescent psychiatrist, earned her medical degree from the University of Tennessee College of Medicine in 2002 and her bachelor's degree from the University of Richmond. She served as chief resident during her triple board residency training in pediatrics, psychiatry, and child and adolescent psychiatry at the University of Kentucky.


Dr. Eken received the "Catcher in the Rye Award for Advocacy" from the American Academy of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry in 2008 and has received numerous other honors and fellowships. She has both authored and presented to professional and academic audiences. Her clinical interests include depression, anxiety, obsessive-compulsive disorder, attention deficit hyperactivity disorder, psychotic disorders, and emotional problems in chronically medically ill children.
