We encourage patients to receive visitors during scheduled visiting hours. This allows patients to receive maximum benefit of their treatment program. Please note that no visitors under age 18 are permitted unless they are a member of the patient’s family and accompanied by the parent. Visitors who are disruptive, endanger the safety of others or interfere with hospital policies will be asked to leave.
- Inpatient Units
Visiting hours are outlined on the unit schedule. All visitors need to register at the lobby reception desk and check in at the nurse’s station upon arrival on the unit.
- Residential Centers
Please check with your family member’s primary therapist to schedule a visit. In some instances, visits may be limited during the week to encourage residents to participate and focus on current treatment needs. Upon your arrival, check in at the main hospital and with the staff in the residential center. Please note that on-campus and off-campus passes must be approved by the treatment team. Approval is based on the resident’s progress and the therapeutic value of the pass.
- Partial Hospitalization or Day Treatment
Unless a family session has been scheduled with a member of the treatment team, patients may not have visitors while enrolled in the program. All visitors are expected to remain in the lobby of the main hospital until a staff member is able to meet them.
