In a recent story, Theodore E. Weltzin, MD, FAED, Medical Director for Eating Disorder Services at Rogers Memorial Hospital, discusses why male eating disorders can go unrecognized for years, along with a few of the common risk factors – read the article here. In addition to Dr. Weltzin, the medical staff also includes two other full-time, board-certified psychiatrists who specialize in treating eating disorders – Tracey Lee Cornella-Carlson, MD, and Brad Smith, MD. Together, Rogers’ highly skilled treatment team works to address each patient nutritionally and psychologically, as well as to manage other medical issues common to eating disorders.
