Eating Disorders Treatment for Children and Adolescents was the discussion on Carol Koby’s “All About Living”, a Madison, WI based radio show on AM1550 WHIT.

The show featured Rogers Hospital’s Dr. Tracey Cornella-Carlson, MD, Medical Director for the child/adolescent eating disorders programs at Rogers Memorial Hospital. She has devoted her career as a physician to the treatment of eating disorders in children and teens.

“Living with an eating disorder is a lonely place to be, and eating disorders currently have the highest mortality rate of any mental illness. Yet, only 1 in 10 receives treatment.”, said Dr. Cornella-Carlson. The show also discussed typical development of eating disorders on children and teens, that this looks like and on recovery.
