Rogers Memorial Hospital recently offered another group of select professionals an opportunity to engage with the hospital’s eating disorder experts on a one-on-one basis. Laurie Hungerford, an account manager from U.S. News & World Report, was among those who attended. As part of Up Close @ Rogers, the group of professionals received a guided tour of Rogers’ 50-acre campus and programs and listened to messages by Theodore E. Weltzin, M.D., FAED, and Tracey Lee Cornella-Carlson, M.D., the medical leadership of the Eating Disorder Center at Rogers. The program welcomes a variety of healthcare specialists, including nutrition therapists, dietitians, psychologists, psychotherapists, and more. Up Close @ Rogers was created to offer key professionals the opportunity to learn more about Rogers’ scope of treatment through an intimate tour and conversations with medical directors and clinicians. Periodically provided for select professionals who would benefit from an inside look, Up Close @ Rogers offers them insight on the advantages of the hospital’s many treatment programs.

Rogers Memorial Hospital is privileged to have some of the most experienced leaders in behavioral health in the country, but it’s always an honor when others also recognize their expertise. The current issue of Madison Magazine lists Michael M. Miller, MD, FASAM, FAPA, the Medical Director of the Herrington Recovery Center, among the “Top Docs of Madison” for addiction treatment! The listing, which is published biannually, is compiled from answers to a survey sent to the area’s physicians, who vote for up to three doctors in each of 70 specialties.
