More than 60 people attended four separate OCD Awareness Talks sponsored by Rogers Memorial Hospital on Wednesday, October 10th. The talks, held simultaneously in the Fox Valley, Madison, Milwaukee and Waukesha areas, focused on the diagnosis and treatment options for OCD. Notable discussion points included associated features common with OCD, PANDAS and Exposure and Ritual Prevention (ERP) therapy.
The free community talks were part of an annual public education campaign coordinated by the International OCD Foundation to help reduce stigma and encourage people who have OCD to find treatment.
