As part of a series of educational events coordinated by the Heartland Chapter of the International Association of Eating Disorders Professionals (iaedp), Theodore E. Weltzin, MD, FAED, and Bradley C. Riemann, PhD, will present “Unlocking the Door: Strategies for OCD in Eating Disorder Patients” during a luncheon on Friday, June 15, 2012 at the Radisson Hotel Milwaukee West in Wauwatosa, WI. Dr. Weltzin, the Medical Director for Eating Disorders Services, and Dr. Reimann, the Clinical Director for the OCD Center, will discuss how it can be challenging to distinguish between OCD and eating disorders due to a significant overlap in symptoms. Sponsored by Rogers Memorial Hospital and The REDI Clinic, the presentation will review the complex relationship between OCD and eating disorders, as well as share the results of recent outcome studies conducted at Rogers Memorial Hospital. The Heartland Chapter serves eating disorder professionals in Illinois, Missouri, Wisconsin, Indiana, Iowa, Michigan and Ohio. Check here for more details.
