As a national leader in the treatment of OCD and other anxiety disorders in children, teens and adults, Rogers Memorial Hospital continues to partner with the International OCD Foundation to promote awareness and treatment of these disorders. This year, as part of OCD Awareness Week (October 8-14), Bradley C. Riemann, PhD, the Clinical Director of the OCD Center and Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy Services, will appear on WTMJ4 TV’s “The Morning Blend” on October 3 at 8 a.m. Dr. Riemann’s appearance is part of a coordinated series of educational efforts in support of OCD Awareness Week that includes free community talks in four locations on October 10 from 7 to 8:30 p.m. The presentations will be offered simultaneously in Appleton (Fox Valley area) by Dr. Riemann; Milwaukee by Stephanie C. Eken, MD; Pewaukee (Waukesha area) by David M. Jacobi, PhD; and Madison by Rachel C. Leonard, PhD. Each will include information on OCD and how early diagnosis and treatment are key to successful recovery. No pre-registration is required. Plan now to attend – for convenient access to details, you can download a flyer or visit rogershospital.org/OCD-talks.
