Rogers to Celebrate Child & Adolescent Centers Building Grand Opening

With the completion of the third phase of our current construction project, Rogers Memorial Hospital will hold a series of events designed to celebrate the Grand Opening of its new Child & Adolescent Centers’ stand-alone building. On September 18, a ribbon-cutting ceremony will mark the completion of the final phase, followed by subsequent events on September 19. A breakfast for the medical staff, a BBQ for other area professionals, and an employee event are also slated for the celebration.

Since opening in 2003, countless children and families have benefited from the unique blend of psychiatric excellence and adventure-based experiences that make the Child & Adolescent Centers so effective. The personal, interactive, collaborative approach we use helps kids with a broad spectrum of mental health concerns. Under the direction of two board-certified child and adolescent psychiatrists who practice full time at Rogers Memorial Hospital – Peter M. Lake, MD and Stephanie Eken, MD, FAAP – our staff has expertise in helping children and adolescents to develop a “tool kit” of skills they can use to give them more control over their symptoms. These are skills they can use the rest of their lives.
