The Herrington Recovery Center conducts ongoing studies to evaluate program effectiveness and increase knowledge in the field of addiction. Patients who agree to participate are asked at admission and discharge to complete a series of standardized questionnaires. Follow-up contact is made periodically for up to two years after discharge. Our outcome studies show that patients achieve significant improvement in work and social adjustments, as well as, reduction in their preoccupation with drinking, and sustain these changes over time.
