Ahmed Numaan, MD, is a board-certified adult psychiatrist who practices full time at Rogers Memorial Hospital–Milwaukee.

Dr. Numaan completed his residency and served as chief resident at the University of Kansas Medical Center in the Department of Psychiatry. Prior to his residency, Dr. Numaan served as a research assistant in the Jules F. Knapp Research Center at the University of Chicago and also as a clinical research associate at Rush Presbyterian-St. Luke’s Medical Center in Chicago.

Dr. Numaan previously served as medical director for the acute inpatient behavioral health unit of St. Joseph’s Hospital in West Bend. Currently he also serves as an attending psychiatrist for Columbia-St. Mary’s Ozaukee campus in Mequon, and Psychiatric Crisis Services at the Milwaukee County Mental Health Center.

He is a member of the American Psychiatric Association and previously served as the vice president for the American Association of Emergency Psychiatry, Midwest region.
