In support of Eating Disorders Awareness Week February 24 through March 2, Tracey L. Cornella-Carlson, MD, CEDS, medical director of the child and adolescent eating disorder programs at Rogers Memorial Hospital, visited with “The Morning Blend,” a local Milwaukee talk show. Dr. Cornella-Carlson indicated there is an increase in the number of children and adolescents presenting with eating disorders. Some warning signs include food restriction, dramatic weight loss, increase in exercise, missing food, increased frequency to the bathroom or cheek swelling.
