The seminar is designed for social workers, licensed professional counselors and other clinicians who provide mental health and addiction treatment. Appropriate for all levels of practitioners.
The full-day seminar will highlight the important new changes occurring with the release of the DSM-5 through presentations by Rogers Memorial Hospital medical staff with expertise in these psychiatric specialty areas:

Upon completion of the seminar participants should be able to:
Registration: The registration deadline is one week prior to the seminar date. Registrations are taken on a first come, first serve basis until enrollment capacity is reached. If registering within one week of the seminar, call 262-646-1356 for space availability. No onsite registrations are accepted.

Grievances: If a grievance arises pertaining to continuing education activities or processes, the complainant is expected to notify our workshop coordinator either by phone or in writing, as soon as possible, so that the nature of the concern may be addressed in a timely fashion.

All participants who complete and submit a participant evaluation form and a request for continuing education credit (included in the seminar materials) upon departure will receive a certificate. Please contact your individual licensing board/regulatory agency to review continuing education requirements for licensure renewal.
Social Workers: Rogers Memorial Hospital, provider number 1101, is approved as a provider for social work continuing education by the Association of Social Work Boards (ASWB), www.aswb.org, through the Approved Continuing Education (ACE) program. Rogers Memorial Hospital maintains responsibility for the program. ASWB Approval Period: October 19, 2011 – October 19, 2014. Social workers should contact their regulatory board to determine course approval. Social workers participating in this course will receive 6.0 clinical continuing education clock hours.
Licensed Professional Counselors: Rogers Memorial Hospital, provider number 6192, is an NBCC-Approved Continuing Education Provider (ACEP™) and may offer NBCC-approved clock hours for events that meet NBCC requirements. The ACEP solely is responsible for all aspects of the program. A maximum of 6.0 clock hours for continuing education credit will be awarded.
Other Health Care Professionals: Rogers Memorial Hospital will issue an attendance certificate commensurate with the extent of your participation in the program. If requested, Rogers will provide assistance with completion of the Wisconsin Association for Marriage and Family Therapy’s Individual Continuing Education Course Approval Form and required attachments.
