Rogers Memorial Hospital, part of Rogers Behavioral Health, is a leader in comprehensive and effective behavioral health care treatment for children, teens and adults. Our mission, set forth by our founder Dr. Arthur Rogers, is to "provide quality health care for those suffering from mental illness." This is the commitment that he lived by during his lifetime and under the guidance of a board of directors, his vision still lives today.
In addition to our Oconomowoc site, we have inpatient hospital campuses in West Allis and Brown Deer, WI. The hospital also operates treatment centers in Appleton, Kenosha, and Madison, while additional regional system locations are found in Tampa, FL, Nashville, TN, and Chicago, IL. Rogers is accredited by the Joint Commission, with the hospital licensed as a psychiatric hospital by the State of Wisconsin.
In fiscal year 2014-15, Rogers Behavioral Health served more people than ever before, recording 11,500 admissions of children, teens and adults in Wisconsin and at our three regional locations in Florida, Illinois and Tennessee. The majority of our patients for our Wisconsin-based services reside in 61 of Wisconsin's 72 counties, with 60 percent from Waukesha and Milwaukee counties and another 30 percent from other counties. Nearly 10 percent of our patients travel from out-of-state or international locations to receive the quality care that Rogers is known for.
As a specialty behavioral health system, Rogers provides a unique treatment environment. With four levels of care, including inpatient, intensive outpatient, partial hospitalization and residential treatment, psychiatry is at the heart of everything we do. No matter the level of care, patients participate in a range of therapeutic activities including:
- Cognitive behavioral therapy
- Dialectical behavioral informed skills therapy
- Experiential therapy
- Family therapy
- Group therapy
- Individual therapy
- Spiritual care
Rogers has more than 80 active members of our medical staff, including more than 50 adult and child adolescent psychiatrists, 15 psychologists, as well as 13 medical doctors and allied health professionals. This staff is supported by more than 1,500 employees who make up our clinical teams, admissions staff, support staff and more.
