A full-time adult psychiatrist, Amanda Rizzari, MD, is board certified in psychiatry and works primarily with adults on the inpatient program and in the OCD and anxiety intensive outpatient and partial hospitalization programs at Rogers’ Oconomowoc location.
Dr. Rizzari is a graduate of Indiana University School of Medicine in Indianapolis. She completed her internship and residency in psychiatry at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center in Dallas, TX. She holds a degree in biology from Denison University in Granville, OH.
Prior to joining the psychiatric team at Rogers Memorial Hospital, Dr. Rizzari served as a staff psychiatrist at Green Oaks Hospital in Dallas, TX, where she worked as both a psychiatric consult and hospitalist on the general adult and geriatric inpatient units. She also has experience in telepsychiatry.
Dr. Rizzari’s primary clinical interests include anxiety disorders, mood disorders, and psychotic disorders. She is a member of the Wisconsin Medical Society.
