Keyur H Parikh, MD

Keyur H Parikh, MD, is a full-time child and adolescent psychiatrist who is board eligible in psychiatry. He specializes in pediatric psychiatry and works primarily with children and adolescents in the inpatient and day treatment programs at Rogers’ West Allis (Milwaukee) hospital location.

Licensed by the State of Wisconsin and the Medical College of India, Dr. Parikh is a member of the American Academy of Child & Adolescent Psychiatry (AACAP) and the Wisconsin Medical Society. He is a graduate of the Smt. NHL Municipal Medical College and VS Hospital in India and completed residency training in general surgery while there. Dr. Parikh also completed residency and fellowship training through the Medical College of Wisconsin in Milwaukee, completing a residency in psychiatry at the Medical College of Wisconsin Affiliated Hospitals and a fellowship in child and adolescent psychiatry at the Children’s Hospital of Wisconsin.

Dr. Parikh is a clinical assistant professor in the Department of Psychiatry at the Medical College of Wisconsin. He has a strong background in adult and pediatric emergency psychiatry through his previous work at a freestanding emergency room. Prior to joining the staff at Rogers, Dr. Parikh held a variety of positions working with the Child & Adolescent Psychiatric Consultation Liaison Team at Children’s Hospital of Wisconsin, the Mobile Urgent Treatment Team (MUTT) of Milwaukee County, the Juvenile Corrections Facility in Milwaukee, the Pediatric Psychopharmacology Clinic at Children’s Hospital of Wisconsin, and more. Dr. Parikh’s clinical interests include disorders pertaining to attention deficit hyperactivity, mood, psychosis, and anxiety. His approach to therapy is focused on solutions.

Dr. Parikh also holds a lifetime certification from the Educational Commission for Foreign Medical Graduates (ECFMG). The ECFMG Certification assures that international medical graduates are ready to enter accredited residency or fellowship programs in the United States and is one of the eligibility requirements for international medical graduates seeking to take the three-step United States Medical Licensing Examination.
