Eating Disorder Center Typical Day

The Eating Disorder Center addresses these often complex disorders by engaging you or your loved one in a variety of comprehensive therapies. The center provides structured programming seven days per week.

Here’s what a typical weekday looks like:


  • Vitals/weights; medications
  • Supervised breakfast; observation
  • Experiential therapy or supervised CBT-based activities
  • Supervised snack; observation
  • DBT-informed skills training


  • Supervised lunch; observation
  • CBT-based activities, art therapy or nutrition education
  • Supervised snack; observation
  • School (adolescents); assignment work (adults)


  • Supervised dinner; observation
  • Goals review
  • Assignment work; daily living responsibilities or community outing
  • Supervised snack; observation

Offering care 24 hours per day, residential counselors provide assistance and support for treatment compliance, setting daily goals, problem solving, feelings identification and other aspects of each patient’s treatment plan and outlook for recovery.
