Rogers Memorial Hospital – Madison Launches OCD Intensive Outpatient Program

As of September 10, the Madison campus is now offering a new intensive outpatient program (IOP) for individuals with severe obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD) and other anxiety disorders. Led by Rachel C. Leonard, PhD, the new IOP is similar to what’s being offered in Oconomowoc and is held four days per week (Monday-Thursday, 2:30-5:30 pm). The program utilizes exposure and response prevention, a specific form of cognitive behavioral therapy that is the treatment of choice for individuals with OCD. All patients meet regularly with a behavioral specialist as well as a psychiatrist – Jerry L. Halverson, MD, FAPA.
