This past weekend, Rogers’ clinicians and outreach team recently attended the national 2013 Anxiety Disorder and Depression conference. Focused on professionals, the conference was a great opportunity to meet other leaders in the field of anxiety and depression disorders to discuss new strategies and techniques, complex cases and treatment.
Stephanie Eken, MD, FAAP Medical Director of the Child Center and David Jacobi, PhD Clinical Supervisor co-presented a presentation entitled “Childhood Generalized Anxiety Disorder” providing a framework for treatment and the roles that caregivers and school personnel play. The two, along with Eddie Tomaich, Child Center Manager, also spoke to parenting strategies, based on Rogers’ Child Center’s Parent University training.
This year’s ADDA conference boasted more than 800 attendees. Join us in 2014 for the Annual ADAA Conference March 27-30, 2014 in Chicago, IL.
