Obsessive compulsive disorder (OCD) and other anxiety disorders can interfere with your life, at school or work, and in your relationships with friends or family. You want the reassurance of a place that will partner with you, to determine a treatment plan that will empower you to gain control of your symptoms. A place that understands and provides you with the skills you need to transition into a productive new life-a life worth living.
We are committed to helping people with OCD and other anxiety disorders gain access to quality treatment. With our new Rogers Behavioral Health-Tampa Bay location, you now have local access to one of the most comprehensive OCD programs in the world.
Rogers' Tampa Bay office will initially offer two short-term, intensive outpatient programs, one for children and adolescents and one for adults. Helpful for patients transitioning between levels of care, both programs are offered Monday - Thursday from 3 to 6 p.m. Treatment will average five to six weeks for each program.
Additionally, Rogers will open a partial hospitalization program that will run Monday – Friday from 8: a.m. to 2:30 p.m. This is similar to the intensive outpatient program but will provide more hours of therapy in each one week period.
Our Tampa Bay OCD services are under the guidance of regional medical director Stephanie C. Eken, pediatrician and psychiatrist, and psychologist Eric A. Storch, PhD, a University of South Florida Health Morsani College of Medicine professor and clincial psychologist. Through an agreement with USF Health for professional services, Dr. Storch serves as clinical director for a team that includes Rogers-trained behavioral specialists and social workers.
